ScreenRecordii is made by Pixel Worship, LLC. This page covers the Mac app and this website. Last updated 7 November 2026.

The app

ScreenRecordii records, edits and exports on your Mac. Recordings, projects and exports are files in folders you choose, by default your Movies folder. We don't receive them, and the app has no account.

• Captions are made with your Mac's own speech recognition.
• The search for secrets on screen uses your Mac's own text recognition.
• If you turn on the setting that notes the control under each click, that is read with macOS Accessibility and stored only in the project.
• Keystrokes, if you choose to show them, are stored only in the project. You can limit them to shortcuts.

The AI features

AI magic (which places zooms) and AI chapters use an AI model through an API key you add yourself, kept in your Mac's Keychain. Each asks before it first sends anything. They send up to 40 still frames of the recording, the timing of clicks, scrolling and shortcuts, and for chapters the transcript and the names of controls you clicked. Typed text is never sent. What the AI provider does with it is covered by your agreement with them.

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising, and loads nothing from other companies: its fonts and scripts come from this site. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to run and protect the service.

If you email us for early access, we use your address only to reply and to send you a build, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
